WHY DO I NEED A DAILY MONEY MANAGER?
As our world becomes more complicated, there are increasing demands on our time; many families are trying to balance responsibilities at work, home, and caring for aging family members, many of whom are hundreds if not thousands of miles away. This is a daunting, and often overwhelming responsibility. Many of these aging family members are fully functioning independent adults, however they may be having occasional health issues or just may feel overwhelmed with the pace and volume associated with managing their money, paying their bills, or staying organized.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
I offer both in-home and remote customized services depending on the client’s preferences and location. I can provide assistance weekly, biweekly, monthly, or even annually. Clients can also contact me as needed, for example, during a transition time in their life, when help is needed to manage their financial affairs.
WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE A FINANCIAL PLANNER AND OTHER ADVISORS?
A Daily Money Manager (DMM) is not a replacement for other professional services in the accounting, financial planning or investment, legal, social service, or medical fields. However, we are a wonderful add-on because Helping and Caring Hands, LLC can collaborate with any legal or financial services you already have or can assist you in finding the right professional. I will help you get the most out of your professional advisors and follow through on their recommendations. My goal is to give you peace of mind by helping you get your accounts and documents in order, so your investment advisor, financial planner, attorney, care manager, or health-care professional can have the full picture of your situation.
WILL I BE GIVING UP MY INDEPENDENCE IF I HIRE A DAILY MONEY MANAGER?
On the contrary, hiring a Daily Money Manager will enable you to maintain your independence as the DMM is there to assist you with your finances and help protect you from financial fraud. Clients enjoy a renewed feeling of freedom and independence and benefit from the stress and anxiety of being overwhelmed by financial and other matters.
